Privacy notice

How DeviceBytes Software handles information from this website. Last updated August 8, 2026.

The short version

This site does not use analytics, advertising cookies, or third-party fonts. The only information it collects is what you type into the enquiry form and choose to send. That information is used to reply to you, and nothing else.

Who is responsible

DeviceBytes LLC, trading as DeviceBytes Software, of 300 Main Street, Suite 21, Madison, NJ 07940, United States. For any question about this notice, email Contact@DeviceBytes.com.

What the enquiry form collects

If you submit the enquiry form, we receive the fields you filled in: your name, email address, and message, plus company, project type, stage, budget range, and timeline where you provided them. Only name, email, and message are required.

At present the form does not transmit anything from this page. It assembles what you typed into a message in your own email client, which you then send yourself. Nothing reaches us until you press send there, and no copy is retained by this website.

The form includes a hidden field intended to catch automated submissions. It is not visible to you and is not used to identify you.

What we do with it

We use your details only to respond to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to carry out that work. We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or add you to a marketing list. There is no newsletter.

Analytics

This site currently runs no analytics and sets no cookies of its own. If that changes, this section will be updated to name the provider and what it collects before it goes live.

Fonts and external resources

Typefaces are served from this site rather than from a font service, so loading a page does not disclose your visit to a third party. Pages load no external scripts, trackers, or embedded widgets.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to external sites, including GitHub repositories, app store listings, and philipr.dev. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this notice does not cover.

Hosting and logs

The site is served as static files by a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs, which may include IP addresses and request information. These are generated by the infrastructure for security and reliability, and are not used by us to build any profile of you.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing Contact@DeviceBytes.com. Where we hold nothing beyond an email thread, deletion means deleting that thread.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and organisations and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes to how enquiry information is handled will be described here rather than applied quietly.
